High Resolution 1280x1024 / 12μm MWIR MCT Thermal Imaging Module with Image Processing Algorithm
GAVIN1212 is a cooled mid wave thermal imaging module developed by Global Sensor Technology (GST). It consists of a 1280x1024@12µm high resolution HgCdTe MWIR IR detector with RS058F cryocooler, hardware electronics and various image processing algorithms are also embedded already to present sharp and clear thermal images.
The image processing algorithms including the basic non-uniformity correction (NUC), auto-gain control (AGC), intelligent details enhancement (IDE), etc. The GAVIN1212 can output megapixels high definition infrared images through its HDMI digital video interface. With industrial standard cameralink interface, infrared camera or system integrator can design or integrate their own complete camera easily based on the GAVIN1212 thermal imaging module.

The GAVIN1212 thermal infrared camera module is widely used many areas such as Remote Monitoring System, Flight Vision Enhancement System, Multi-sensor Payload etc.
1. What is NETD?
NETD refers to "Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference". It is a measure for how well a thermal imaging detector is able to distinguish between very small differences in thermal radiation in the image. NETD is typically being expressed in milli-Kelvin (mK). Usually the lower the NETD figure is, the higher the thermal sensitivity indicates.
2. What is SWaP3?
SWaP3 refers to size, weight, power, performance and price. It indicates the technology trend of infrared industry.
3. What is DRI?
DRI usually refers detection, recognition and identification distance of a thermal imaging system. It is a crucial parameter to judge the performance of the thermal imaging system.
